The light, soft embroidery stabilizer, 55 g/m², is a cut-away stabilizer.
Available in white and black.
When high stability is required in embroidery, cut-away stabilizers are the perfect choice. Thanks to their special construction and material composition, they are characterized by particularly high stitch stability.
The thin stabilizer is very soft and adds hardly any bulk. After embroidery, simply cut the stabilizer around the edge of the design. The remaining stabilizer inside the design will keep the embroidery stable for the entire lifetime of the textile. Even frequent wearing, washing, and ironing do not affect the stabilizer—it remains durable.
The slightly greater time needed to trim back the stabilizer pays off in the higher quality of the embroidery result.

STIFFY 2055 – for lightweight to firm, stretchable fabrics and knitwear
- Cut STIFFY 2055 slightly larger than the embroidery hoop.
- Hoop together with the fabric.
- Embroider the design.
- Remove the hoop.
- Turn the fabric inside out and carefully trim away STIFFY 2055 with scissors.
